Nominator's project description
| Dr. Ruben Minasian has made ground breaking contributions to string theory which is currently the most promising unifying theory of all elementary particles and their interactions. His discoveries in the field of duality symmetries have opened a new door for their study. The classes of string compactifications which Dr. Minasian has studied bring us closer to modelling the real world, as observed in particle accelerators. Throughout his work Dr. Minasian has built bridges between mathematics and physics, from which both sides have greatly profited. |
